WEEKEND WALKABOUT IN DOWNTOWN SARNIA
This summer, the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Tourism Sarnia-Lambton and the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Recovery Task Force would like to support downtown merchants to grow their businesses.
A Pedestrian Friendly Zone will be created by closing Christina Street from George to Davis at 4:00 PM on Friday until 8 PM on Sunday. This street closure will allow merchants to utilize the entire sidewalk for their wares/patios and the street will be a space in which people can move freely and safely.
The Pedestrian Friendly Zone will start on Friday, July 17 and wrap up on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
Front Street, as well as George, Lochiel, Cromwell, Davis, and Wellington Street will remain open to allow for traffic flow and access to parking. Special accommodations will be made to support residents and visitors with mobility challenges.
THE FINALE WEEKEND
Join us downtown this weekend for the weekend walkabout with the International Symphony Orchestra’s “Through the Looking Glass” this Saturday at 2:00 PM.
