Government Relations
We represent Sarnia-Lambton’s businesses and support them at all levels of government. The Chamber develops positions on a variety of issues that are important to our members and the community at large. Once a policy is drafted and endorsed by the Board of Directors, a government relations strategy is developed to inform, educate, and gain support of government officials. Government relation efforts typically include meetings with elected officials, letter writing, roundtable discussions, collaboration with partners, and submitting policy resolutions to the Ontario and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber office is an official test site for the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council vehicle sales certification. Register for the OMVIC program with Georgian College at 1.800.943.6002. Once prepared for testing, call the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce office to schedule a test appointment time at 519.336.2400.
