Chamber Announces New CEO

The Board of Directors of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the appointment of Carrie McEachran as Chief Executive Officer, effective May 9, 2022.

Carrie comes to us from Sarnia-Lambton Rebound where she has served as Executive Director for the past 6 years. Previous to this, she spent 20years in management with Community Living Sarnia-Lambton and Pathways Health Centre for Children. Carrie is also a small business owner; revolutionizing the world and helping women grow leadership and management skills.

Carrie is currently the chair of the Sarnia Lambton Social Services Network, former President of the Rotary Club of Sarnia, and former board member for the Physician Recruitment Taskforce (now called Blue Coast Primary Care Recruitment and Retention) and North Lambton Community Health Centre. She has a master’s degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University and non-profit management certificate from Western University.

Carrie has lived in Sarnia Lambton for the past 25 years. Together with her husband Matt, they have five children, a dog, a few chicken sand ducks.

“The board believes that Carrie’s extensive leadership experience and her passion for community development and growth makes her the ideal CEO to lead the Chamber into the exciting next chapter of post-pandemic recovery and rebuilding,” said Kathleen Mundy, head of the hiring committee and former Chair person of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce . “We have all been impressed by her strong record of community leadership & advocacy, operational excellence and collaborative spirit and we are excited to welcome her to the Chamber of Commerce.”

I look forward to working with the local business community in doing just that” ,said Ms. McEachran.
