Canada Small Business Financing Program

The Canada Small Business Financing Program helps small businesses secure loans by sharing the risk with lenders.

Maximum Loan Amount: $1.15 million per borrower

• Term Loans: Up to $1,000,000, with the following limits:
  • Maximum of $500,000 for purchasing leasehold improvements, improving leased property, and buying or upgrading new or used equipment.
  • Of this, up to $150,000 can be used for intangible assets and working capital costs.
• Lines of Credit: Up to $150,000.

Loans are provided through financial institutions, which are solely responsible for loan approvals.
