Why Join The Chamber?

Testimonial From All Hours Home Care

"Building a new small business from scratch can be a challenging endeavor. One important element to us was to join the local Chamber of Commerce in order to network with other entrepreneurs and business people like us.
Once joining the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, we were extremely happy to learn of all the support that we could access as members of the Chamber of Commerce. All Hours Home Care is a non-medical home care business that employs a small number of Personal Support Workers and Client Care Assistants working with members of the community in their homes.
We prepared to undertake the large task of researching and developing the policies and procedures required in order to begin our business on the right foot.  As members of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce we had the opportunity for a consultation with HR Covered. We were grateful for this opportunity to speak with an HR Specialist about the needs of our business. The consultation was invaluable to us as we were provided with a manual of policies and procedures tailored to All Hours Home Care. The manual covered all legislated policies required by our business and key HR policies. As non-HR professionals, to research and write this manual ourselves would have taken an overwhelming number of hours.
Our consultation with HR Covered, through our membership with the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce, allowed us to focus on the development and marketing of All Hours Home Care. "
